Aloha and welcome (e komo mai) to the Really Hawaiian blog.  We launched in July ’09 and received an overwhelming number of hits in our first month – that’s tremendous for a new launch and a definite confirmation for the need to promote all the fabulous and hot products and services really made in Hawaii.

Mahalo for all the support and emails – we agree "it’s about time" someone did this.   As incredible as it might sound, searching the web for authentically made in Hawaii items is not so easy.  There are many websites that sell Hawaiian souveniers but they are made in China, not Hawaii.  And there are even more stores throughout the islands that attract tourists only to sell them stuff not made in Hawaii.  Looks like a pearl, but it’s not from Hawaiian waters.  Smells like pikake lotion, but there’s nothing in the ingredients from Hawaii.  Nice tiki statue – but it’s made in Taiwan.  Where’d ya get that cool Hawaiian shirt?  Look closely – it’s probably made in India, etc.

NO more of that nonsense.  ReallyHawaiian.com searches high and low for everything really made in Hawaii.  From island to island we go, searching and browsing, and talking story to help uncover the truly inspiring products and services that are indeed made right here – in the islands of Hawaii.  Land of peace, sunshine, smiles and aloha.  Why settle for something less than Really Hawaiian?
