Banana Jack Hawaiian Shirts ~ da’kine

When friends visit one of the top items on their ‘must have’ list is a shirt from Hawaii – and it has to be ‘made in Hawaii’, they are quite particular about that.

In this edition we are featuring the Banana Jack Hawaiian Shirt Co. It’s very hard to find authentically MADE IN HAWAII shirts anymore.  Many of the popular brands that were once mainstays of the Hawaiian manufacturing community now outsource due to rising labor availability.  Hence, much of the clothing is now imported from Korea, China, Indonesia, India, etc. Banana Jack and several other brands of Hawaiian shirts have their headquarters in, design AND manufacture their clothing in, warehouse in, ship from, and retail their product in Hawaii. Now that’s Really Hawaiian.

  • Banana Jack is cool, but we have to agree that much of the clothing is now imported from Korea, China, Indonesia, India, etc. We produce our Aloha in Oahu as well as on the mainland, which is also flooded with imported junk.

    Mahalo for your comment!

If you tell us which line(s) come from Hawaii – we’d love to feature Wave Shoppe on our site.

I love the Really Hawaiian website – I recommend it to friends and family – who visit me often in Hawaii. I live on the North Shore and hate to travel to town for shopping – the sites you list are fantastic for guys like me.

By the way I’ve bought shirts from Banana Jack and a few other internet aloha shirt sites. Banana Jack gets em to me in 2 days. I love there shirts. Another site I like is Reyns the delivery is not as quick but they have some nice shirts.

I looked at the wave shop site but can’t handle the idea of buying an aloha shirt that come from California – no offense to them or California but hey Hawaii is Hawaii.

http://www.reallyhawaiian.com is the king – I’ll keep streading the work. Thanks guys.
