Hawaii Life
Real Estate ++
When it comes to Really Hawaiian companies and services, Hawaii Life Real Estate struck us as rather unusual indeed. To be qualified, it’s imperative the company follows our strict guidelines. Hawaii Life is like no other. Here’s the inside scoop, and why we’re happy to spread the word about this very really Hawaiian company …
Winston Welborn and Justin Britt were developing small brokerage websites for large franchise companies like RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker and Century21 when in 2004 they saw an opportunity for a feature rich real estate website to make a large play in Hawaii’s real estate market.
The site started on Kauai as a referral based model. Based on the success, site went statewide in 2006. The major drawback was that they were referring business to franchise based brokerages which were taking money out of the state. In 2007 Winston and Justin decided to change their business plan therefore keeping all monies earned through HawaiiLife.com in the state. In 2008, teamed up with their Principal Broker Matt Beal, Hawaii Life became a brick and mortar brokerage. The only statewide locally owned brokerage in Hawaii.
And if that’s not enough – Hawaii Life takes it one step further with the Real Good Program.
