It’s ʻOkakopa ~ October!

October – we start pretty quick with Ironman on the 10th. This is a fairly significant event on the Big Island of Hawaii. The ReallyHawaiian.com huli will be attending this year as part of the official Ironman Press core. Here’s the warm up article.
Also this month we introduce you to Aloha Tiki Huts – who said you can’t build a little paradise anywhere you want? And if that makes you happy, make it last with Happy Cakes, a Hawaiian tradition – totally worth passing along to everyone you know – be happy. To get to that deliriously happy stage tho it’s going to take something from either Sea Glass Obsession or MCK Metal – you decide! And with all that happiness overflowing, it’s a great time to check out Las Vegas but not without your lucky underwear – we kid you not folks, a frog in your shorts can make you very happy, ooops, we mean lucky! And when you return from Vegas with all those lucky winnings, might we recommend you invite your ‘ohana on a fabulous excursion from Hawaii Forest and Trail? These folks are remarkable in their delivery of things to do and see on the Big Island. It’s thanks to Hawaii Forest and Trail that we found The Mill Chocolate Fudge! What a wonderful place for homemade fudge – wow – very dreamy chocolate. Almost as dreamy as living on Swanson Island, just ask Kerri and Mark the creative duo behind the island. Whimsical “Jetsons meet the Robinsons” line of beach bags, pouches, tiles etc. We couldn’t take our eyes off the great prints and designs. We are featuring their prints in this article.
And of course there’s a whole lot more to October, just ask Kai at Kaiulana Spices. She’s our very own “Spice Girl”. Have fun, be safe (Iron people), and many many mahalos for another month (#4) of incredible support for ReallyHawaiian.com.
“The fundamental purpose of this site is to promote the fabulous, incredible, inspiring, green, conscious, unique, magic and yummy products + services that are made and inspired in Hawaii. Really Hawaiian.”
