Mo’o Stands for Gecko ~

Geckos are a pretty good friend in Hawaii.  We have two in almost every room in the house.  They tend to the abundance of bugs and help keep them in control.  The ones in the office are brazen enough to sit on top of the computers, or under the printer where it’s warm.  We often leave a few drops of honey out to lure in our gecko “friends”, mostly just for fun – their tongues lap up the honey and well, at 3PM in Hawai, that’s entertainment!

There are several different kinds of geckos – we like the greeen ones, they are the most colorful lizards (Mo’o) in all the Hawaiian Islands.  Kona Geckos has taken this whole subject a step futher by producing gecko art in several forms.
