Aloha again!

“I’ve called hawaii home for over 5 years, but fell in love with this place even longer ago. in 2008, i launched my local, eco conscious accessories company: meesah.  all items are handmade, locally – by me :-) – from recycled and vintage materials that are also locally sourced.  For me, it is more about increasing awareness for respect of our surroundings and not at all about the quick buck, or so-called buy local/green “trend.”  it is a way of life that is thankfully spreading.  thanks for taking the time to find out a bit more about meesah!” ~ Melisa

While working in advertising, Melisa was surrounded by artistic colleagues who encouraged her to pursue her creative expression. in 2007, she decided to leave a successful career in advertising in order to pursue this ambition.

Since then she has found success creating handcrafted jewelry made with found, recycled, and vintage materials for that extra feel-good wearability. these one-of-a-kind, environmentally friendly creations are the perfect combination of Melisa’s talents and passion.
