The Pet Hui ~ Help!

The animal world at ReallyHawaiian.com asked to be included in this month’s edition.  They have a few announcements and things to share with our animal loving audience.  First on their minds is the Pet Hui – a TV show in Hawaii about pets.  This is a GREAT and very enjoyable TV show that acknowledges a deep affection for everyone’s pet.  The show features compelling stories about people and their pets, information about pet health care, tips of training your pets, and much much more. The show is incredibly heart warming.

However there’s a problem ~ Help Mana get home.

“Mana” an 11-year-old African Grey has been stolen, (Pet Who Flew the Coop).   Mana lives in Oahu with Kris, his owner of 11 years.  Kris left his bike with Mana on it, at the Bus Stop on Billingham Blvd. in Honolulu on July 1st around 3 – 4PM.  He dashed into Jack in the Box across the street for a few minutes but when he came out – Mana and his bike (a Mongoose) were GONE.  This is awful – why did someone steal Mana and the bike?  That’s not really Hawaiian.  African Grey’s are such a delicate and special bird – please if you know the whereabouts of Mana or have any information – please contact the Pet Hui immediately.

African Grey’s are very intelligent and emotional.   Mana must be terribly worried and upset to be away from Kris.  And Kris is desperate to find Mana.

Faffy (African Grey), Gurl and Feathers (both African Senegals) say “Mahalo” for your ko’o manu (support for birds).
